Day 1: Marrakech
Arrival at the Menara airport. Transfer to a hotel or riad.
Day 2: Marrakech – Aguelmame Ouiouane (1650m) (366km)
After breakfast, we depart for the Ouiouane Lake in the Middle Atlas, passing by Beni Mellal, and Khénifra. Overnight stay in a local gîte.
Day 3: Aguelmame Ouiouane
Free day for walking and exploring the beautiful area around the lake. Overnight stay in a local gîte.
Day 4: Aguelmame Ouiouane – Imouzzer-du-kandar (130km)
After breakfast we’ll take the road passing by the Ifran NP, the Cedar forests, the ski resort of Mischliffen and the Valley of Rocks to Imouzzer-du-Kandar. Overnight stay in a hotel or an appartment.
Day 5: Imouzzer-du-kandar
Today we’ll drive to the Ifrah Lake for a walk. In the area there are more “Dayets” (Lakes) such as the Dayet Aoua and the Dayet Hachlaf which we will visit depending on the time that remains. Overnight stay in Imouzzer-du-kandar.
Day 6: Imouzzer-du-kandar - Imichil (300km)
A long drive will bring us via Midelt to Imilchil. Imilchil is known for the Wedding Festival, the “Moussem des fiancailles”. The legendary tale of the Imilchil Marriage Festival is a berber Romeo and Juliet story. Overnight stay in an auberge.
Day 7: Imilchil
We will pack a picnic and go for a daywalk around the 2 beautiful lakes Isli and Tislit. Overnight stay in the auberge.
Day 8: Imilchil – Bin el Ouidane (130km)
Today we will take the road passing the Col Tizi-n’Isly and drive to the South (stopping to visit the Rock Cathedral, also called Mastfrane Cathedral) to the large and beautiful lake of the Barrage Bin el Ouidane. Overnight stay in an auberge at the lake.
Day 9: Bin el Ouidane – Ouzoud Falls - Marrakech (230km)
On the way to Marrakech we will visit the Ouzoud waterfalls. Overnight stay in a riad in the medina.
Day 10: Marrakech
